Configuration and Function of Water-Cooling Equipment
1. Induction Heating Power Supply
The induction heating power supply is a power device that converts 50Hz industrial-frequency alternating current (AC) into medium-high frequency current (ranging from above 1kHz to 200kHz). Its working process is as follows: first, it rectifies the three-phase industrial-frequency AC into direct current (DC); then, it converts the DC into adjustable medium-frequency current, which is supplied to the capacitor and induction coil in the working circuit, forming a medium-high frequency alternating current flowing through the induction coil. In the electromagnetic induction heating system, the induction heating power supply serves as both a frequency converter and an energy conversion device.
2. Profiled Fixture with Induction Coil
In the electromagnetic induction heating system, the induction coil is a power output device.
When medium-high frequency alternating current passes through the induction coil, it generates an alternating magnetic field with the same frequency and high density around the coil. If a metal material is placed in this alternating magnetic field, the magnetic lines of force of the alternating magnetic field will cut through the metal material, inducing a strong eddy current in the metal material. As the eddy current flows through the metal, the metal resistor generates heat, thereby heating up the metal material.
3. Water Chiller
The water chiller is used to cool the main unit of the equipment and the induction coil. During the heating process, the induction coil generates heat due to the passage of current; the water chiller cools the induction coil, ensuring its long-term operation.
4. Temperature Measuring Instrument
The temperature measuring instrument is used to detect the temperature of the heated workpiece and feed the temperature data back to the heating power supply. When the target temperature is reached, the power supply will automatically stop heating up or switch to heat preservation mode, realizing the temperature control function.
Generally, there are two types of temperature measuring instruments: contact-type and non-contact-type. We usually match the appropriate temperature measuring instrument according to the current needs of the customer.
