WTR induction heater application wind power spindle bearing installation solution

The WTR induction heater is using the principle of electromagnetic induction, the metal generates eddy currents in analternating magnetic field to generate heat, which is usually used in metal heat treatment andother fields. The principle is that when thicker metals are exposed to an alternating magnetic field.an electric current is generated due to electromagnetic induction. After thicker metals generatecurrent, the current will form a spiral flow path inside the metal, so that the heat generated by thecurrent flow is absorbed by the metal itself, which will cause the metal to quickly heat up. Thermalexpansion is generated from the inside and outside, thus meeting the needs of interference as-sembly.
When there is no temperature difference requirement for inner and outer rings in the initial bearing heating, the WTR large-scale power frequency induction heater can be used to heat the bearing and bearing seat. This model is mainly used for the installation of bearings and bearing seats of units below 2.5MW.
With the improvement of wind turbine assembly technology and the increase in power generation capacity, the mainframe manufacturer has proposed that the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings of the bearing heating should be ≤25-30℃. WTR uses the automatic control method of PLC program to produce multi-point temperature control power frequency heaters, set the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings, and after the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings is set, the heater automatically controls the start and stop for heating, and no personnel need to be arranged on duty on site. After the heating is completed, it enters the automatic insulation mode, and there are sound and light prompts. This model is mainly used for the installation of main shaft bearings and bearing seats of wind turbines above 3MW.

With the favorable national policies, the main engine manufacturers have put forward new requirements for heating speed to increase production capacity. WTR technicians have upgraded the multi-point temperature control heater according to the needs, and added an electric auxiliary heating belt to the outer ring of the bearing. While supplementing the heat outside the bearing, it reduces the heat dissipation of the outer ring of the bearing and plays a role in heat preservation. After this transformation, the heating time of the bearing can be shortened by more than 30 minutes.
