WTR recently completed an induction stress relieving project for 400 series stainless steel plates at the production site of Tsingshan Stainless Steel. The application utilized a 100kW+ medium frequency water-cooled induction heating system equipped with customized copper tube inductors to achieve fast and uniform heating performance during the heat treatment process.
Compared with conventional furnace heating, induction heating provides faster heating speed, precise temperature control, improved energy efficiency, and reduced production downtime. The stress relieving process helps reduce residual stress, improve plate stability, and enhance manufacturing reliability for stainless steel production applications.
This induction heating solution is suitable for stainless steel plants, steel plate heat treatment, welding preheating, PWHT, and other heavy industry heating applications.
