About the use of heating rods
● Select the proper heating rod, and choose the largest possible rod that will fill the inside diameter of the workpiece. This will help to heat the workpiece faster and more evenly.
● Ensure that the shiny (polished) side of the heater rod is well greased, which will help the heater rod make contact with the end face of the U-pole and prevent excessive vibration.
● Place the heating rod perpendicular to the U-shaped magnetic pole, making sure that the shiny side of the heating rod is aligned with the magnetic pole end.
● Ensure that the heated workpiece never touches the plastic housing of the heater.
● When the heating process is finished, remove the heated workpiece according to the reverse procedure of the above instructions. Wear protective work clothes, e.g. heat-resistant gloves, as the workpiece is very hot when heated.
Always be careful with the heating rod, as dropping it, shaking it violently, welding it, etc. can damage it. Always remove the heating rod immediately after use.
● To prevent the heater from tipping over and causing damage to the rod or rotating device, the maximum weight that can be carried by each rod is strictly limited.
● Some heavy workpieces can be heated horizontally (if they have the right inner diameter and pole size), or they can be suspended by a non-metallic rope from a crane without the need for the heating rod to carry the weight.
